How It Works
A later-in-life move has a hundred moving parts. Here's how we take them off your plate, step by step, so your family can focus on your loved one.
Our process
One person keeps it all on track, from the first visit to the last box. We work alongside your real estate agent, attorney, and senior community. Pick the package that fits, or just the parts you need.
Free in-home walkthrough
We come to the home, with family there or on the phone, and walk through every room together. We listen first. There's no cost and no obligation.
A clear written plan
You get a written plan with how long the work will take and the price. Your family decides together, and it helps to pick one main point of contact for scheduling and updates, so nothing falls through the cracks. Nothing is added without your OK.
Photos before we start
We photograph every room before anything is touched, so there's a clear record of how things were. Family gets photo updates all the way through.
Sorting, together
Room by room, we sort into keep, sell, donate, and toss. Unsure items go to a "hold" pile so no one is rushed on the hard ones. Cash, jewelry, papers, and keepsakes we find go straight to the family.
Coordinating the team
We bring in our trusted local partners, schedule them in the right order, meet them at the house, and check their work. You hire and pay them directly, and we handle the back-and-forth.
The house, ready to list
A final tidy and photo-ready touches using what's already in the home, then a walkthrough with you before it lists.
A warm welcome at the new home
With the Full Transition package, we unpack and set up the new place so it feels like home the very first night, then come back for a settle-in visit.
Coordinating trusted local partners
Getting a house ready and a move done takes a whole team: movers, cleaners, landscapers, handymen, and donation pickups. Keeping them all on schedule is a job on its own, and it's the part families usually dread. We run that team for you, so the house gets ready without your family managing a single appointment.
- Licensed movers
- Cleaners
- Landscapers
- Handymen
- Donation pickups
- Junk haulers
What that looks like
Bring in the right partners
We match the job to trusted local partners: licensed movers, cleaners, landscapers, handymen, and donation pickups.
Clear quotes upfront
Each partner gives you their price before any work is booked, so there are no surprises.
Schedule in the right order
Donations before the cleaners, repairs before the listing photos, the yard before the sign goes up. We build the sequence around your move date and your agent's timeline.
Meet them at the house
We're on-site to let partners in and answer their questions, so your family doesn't have to take time off work or drive across town.
Check the work
We walk through after each job and follow up on anything that isn't right before we call it done.
One shared timeline
Everyone who should be in the loop sees the same plan, with photo updates as each job gets done.
A warm welcome on the first night
It's in our name. The goal isn't just to get everything moved. It's for your loved one to walk into the new place and feel at home right away.
Bed made
Fresh sheets and a favorite blanket, ready for the first night's sleep.
Familiar photos up
Family pictures hung where they'll be seen every day.
Favorite chair in its spot
Placed by the window or the TV, just the way they like it.
Kitchen and bath ready
Everyday things put away where they're easy to find.
Family out of town?
If your mom, dad, or grandparent lives in Metro Atlanta and you live across the country, you can still be part of every step. Photo updates and one shared plan let you see the work as it happens and follow every decision, so you can rest easy knowing your loved one is cared for and treated fairly.
